Huilo Huilo

Hello people! Today I'm going to talk about a Chilean landmark that I love: “Huilo Huilo”. This place it’s located in the XIV region, the Region of “Los Ríos”. I visited this Biological Reserve this summer with my family, when we went on vacation to the Chilean south, on February, a week before return to class and we loved it! It’s really amazing because you can do a lot of tourist activities, but we only knew the landmark “Salto del Huilo Huilo” that you can see in this photograph:

In this photograph the strength of the water fall can't be clearly defined, but it was awesome! And all around it was beautiful! The water was turquoise and very very clear and the particular thing about this place is that to get to the waterfall you have to walk on trails a few meters, but they are really beautiful because they are full of vegetation.

In addition to this, we met the Nothofagus Hotel, a very touristic building that it’s located in the middle of the forest. To get there, as to the waterfall, you have to walk a few trails, until suddenly the hotel appears in the vegetation. I think that looks like a honeycomb, it’s architecture is very interesting!

I recommend you to visit this place someday because it is really amazing. I would love to visit it again.
Without doubt the South of Chile is wonderful ! <3
