C13
Hi bloggers! Today I'm going to talk about one of the groups that I like it so much: Calle 13.
This is a band of rap rock and rap fusion of Puerto Rico. Is led by René Perez, alias "Resident" and his brother Eduardo Cabra, alias "Visitant". René is a singer, songwriter and producer, while Eduardo is a composer, arranger and piano, melodica, electric guitars and other multiinstrumentalist musical director. The half sister of both, Ileana Cabra, alias "PG-13" is the female voice of the group.
I saw them in 2010, when they come to Movistar Arena on September 6th. I saw them with my father, a cousin and with some friends of the school. The concert tour was "Entren los que quieran". I love that disc because it has many of my favourite songs of Calle 13, like "Muerte en Hawaii", "La vuelta al mundo", "latinoamerica", among others. The show was incredible, we had so much fun, because all the people were jumping and dancing all time. So, we can't keep calm and we jumped and danced too. I don't have photographs of that day but I found this on the Internet:
I like it so much this group because their songs are full of sarcasm and criticism of poloticians, celebrities and icons recognized. So, their songs are variety of topics from social criticism, even a little romance. That's why I like it so much, in adittion to the strong message that give each song.
