Coloring life

Hi guys! Today I´m going to talk about my artistic “talent” that somehow influenced in my decision to study architecture. Is about drawing and painting. This is something that I had done since I had memory, rather that I had loved do because when I was a child I remember that I loved draw my house’s walls, not because I had was bad and I had liked to make my mother angry, it was just that I really enjoyed catch a pencil and draw some crazy line. This pleasure was maintained over time and at school I always was recognized to my talent, even in my graduation ceremony I got a prize for my artistic career in the school, because since the first grade I participated in painting competitions where participated a lot of students from other schools . I won several times and that made me happy. So, it wasn’t strange that my classmates asked me for help in art works, or when had were school competitions I had painting a big placard or I had designed the insignias.

However, is curious that I had never taken painting classes. My only reference had been my mom and my grandmother, they are really good oil painters. They began painting classes when I was a child, so I grew up seeing them. Nevertheless, regardless of this, I have always painted my way, tracing the first thing that comes to mind. This is why I enjoy painting so much because I express myself freely and I do not think of anything else.

I would like to spend more time painting, but it really is very difficult when you are studying architecture. That's why in the summer I decided to paint a painting. It is this:

To conclude, I would like to share with you a phrase I read from a painter who says:
"Life is art. Make it colorful".
