Fiestas Patrias
I think that Fiestas Patrias is the best date of the year, because on these days all people are very happy and party-goer, also is a oportunity to share with the family and friends so, doubtlessly is very special.
So, this year, like all years, I celebrated it in my land: San Vicente de Tagua Tagua. I went to Fondas all nights with my friends, that I hadn't seen for a several weeks so it was a good meeting. We drunk a typical San Vicente de Tagua Tagua's drink: "Vino con pomelo". When I live, this drink is very famous in this date so, all the people take advantage and drink it, and really it's very delicious because has a sweet taste.
But not all is alcohol, because in the evenings I had familiar lunches and we made roasts. We ate delicious grilled beef, empanadas made by my grandmother, typical chilean desserts and even french fries. Definitely I ate too much!
My last activity "dieciochera" was go to the hill with a family that we hadn't seen for a long time, they were cousins who were very close to me when I was a child, because they lived near to my house, but several years ago they moved to another city. So, our mothers organized this outing and we up the hill and we made a picnic remembering old stories of our childhood...
When I returned to Santiago I felt very unhappy, because these week in my hose was amazing and I didn't want to return to my daily rutine </3
